Using instant messaging to brainstorm your goals for 2013 can be a great way to make sure that you’re still on track. Ask a friend or coworker that is on your Brosix user contact list if you can ask them about a few goals you are creating. Depending on your relationship with this person, it can be goals that are personal, professional or both.
Before asking the other user about the goals, it is important to create a sheet with what you are wanting to accomplish in 2013. Make a list of 5 to 10 goals for each area of your life: personal (including home, finances, relationships, and more), professional, and self-development (personal habits or routines that you want to improve upon).
Next, pick a few of these that you either want to focus on most or are the most unsure about. These are the ones that are probably best to ask your instant messaging contact about. Once they have helped you work out your goals for 2013 and how to best them into practice, offer to help them with the same.
People who set goals are much more likely to achieve them then those that don’t actually take the time to write them down.
